Tell us about your session: "Part of the ethos behind what I do is giving something back... I volunteer my time to photograph greyhounds needing homes for a centre nearby where I live, my belief and also rehoming figures suggest that a good photo can greatly improve the chances of dogs that may otherwise be in a kennel environment for a long period of time. Christmas and January is often a very busy period with very little coming in with respect to donations and potential homes so I consider this a somewhat vital service." What photography tips can you offer our readers? "If you get the opportunity to photograph dogs needing homes I highly recommend it for multiple reasons, firstly it can provide much needed interaction for the dogs but it is also a fantastic opportunity to develop skills, the dogs may not have the best obedience so this can prepare you for the future should a client have a dog who would much prefer to do their own thing.
